If you are a Health and Safety Advisor/Coordinator looking to take the next step in your career, I have the perfect opportunity to join a Dudley based organisation who are a leading supplier of galvanised, hot rolled, cold reduced, electro zinc and aluminisedslit coil sheets.

The Health and Safety manager would be responsible for:

  • Manage incident/accident investigations, ensuring any risks associated are managed/minimized
  • Manage and audit the provision of appropriate Personal Protective Equipment, ensuring any risks are managed
  • Take ownership, develop, and update the Safe Systems
  • Manage and administer site inductions
  • Hold and manage Health and Safety committee meetings

Requirements for the Health and Safety Manager:

  • Experience in facilitating behavioral safety change programmes
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to influence change and challenge stakeholders
  • Degree or similar level of education
