Description
We're looking for an experienced warehouse operative to join our Manchester site on a permanent basis. This is a full-time role that requires a mixture of shift and weekend working.

Our Manchester branch is located in the Trafford Park area and you'll be working alongside our pharmacy team, including; pharmacy manager, pharmacists, accuracy checking technician and dispensers.

Phlo is an online pharmacy aiming to empower patients by giving them full control of their healthcare. Using our app, patients can manage, order and track their prescriptions and benefit from same-day, real-time deliveries.


As a Pharmacy Warehouse Operative, you will play a crucial role in the efficient and smooth operation of our pharmacy warehouse.

Your primary responsibilities will include receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping pharmaceutical products and supplies.

You will work closely with pharmacy, operations and other warehouse staff to ensure accurate and timely fulfilment of orders while maintaining strict adherence to regulatory guidelines and quality standards.

We use a range of bespoke platforms and systems, therefore being comfortable with technology is essential.


Requirements:

On a day-to-day basis, you'll be involved in the following:

  • Receive incoming pharmaceutical products and supplies, verifying accuracy and quality.
  • Organize and maintain inventory within the warehouse, ensuring proper storage conditions and stock rotation.
  • Pick orders accurately and efficiently, utilizing electronic systems or manual methods as required.
  • Pack orders securely and appropriately for shipment, following standard operating procedures and safety protocols.
  • Assist with periodic stock checks and inventory audits to maintain accurate inventory records.
  • Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the warehouse, including keeping working areas clear and equipment in good working condition.
  • Follow all regulatory guidelines and company policies related to handling and storing pharmaceutical products, including temperature control and security measures.
  • Collaborate with other warehouse staff and pharmacy personnel to resolve any issues or discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including manual handling.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge relevant to warehouse operations and pharmaceutical handling.
