Description

A group of companies based in Derby is looking for a Financial Controller to help grow the business and assist the Finance Director.

This is a very stable group of companies that sees the current climate as opportunity for growth and progression. This isa number two in finance role that oversees a small finance team.

Your duties will include:

  • Produce management accounts.
  • Budgets and forecasts.
  • Cash flow modelling.
  • Financial analysis.
  • Statutory accounting.
  • VAT
  • Preparation of Board packs.
  • Management of small team.
  • Supervision of transactional accounting and payroll.
  • Adhoc project work partnering with the MD. Including support for M&A projects.
  • CIS verifications and returns
About You

  • You will be a qualified accountant with SME experience in a similar handson role.
  • Fully qualified in ACCA/CIMA/ACA
  • Commercially minded
