£14.27 PAYE or £18.09 LTD
Hours per week: 37 Hours per week

Shifts: 08:00AM - 16:30PM Mon-Thurs

08:00AM PM Fri

Duration: 6 Month Contract +


Client Summary:
Our client is a global leader in Rolling Stock vehicle manufacturing, service and maintenance.

Position Summary:
This position will be mainly based in the warehouse of the depot with the use of an FLT truck, but you will be required to do a considerable amount on manual handling and the role will involve some administrative tasks
The position is a contract position, based a busy engineering department based in Crewe.

Applicants would ideally have the ability to complete all of the following:


  • Good knowledge of material supply
  • Experience of picking
  • Knowledge of SAP or similar stock control systems (preferred)
  • Use of Microsoft Office software packages
  • Printing documentation and labels
  • Help with planning and assisting company audits
  • Good organisational and communication skills
  • Stock control and rotation (this is essential)
  • Be able to comply to Alstom Supply
  • FLT experience with a Counterbalance and Reach license
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines
  • Ensure the safe storage of parts
  • Ensure the Warehouse is kept safe at all times
  • Will be responsible for delivering materials to point of use as required
  • Ensure all goods being dispatched are secure and packaged well

Person Profile/Experience:

  • Similar experience with a heavy industry / engineering stores
  • Refreshed their Counterbalance license within the last three years
  • Able to work well within a small team
  • Be able to work alone for periods and be responsible for their work.
