We work with young people who are at risk of Mental Health hospital admission or already in Hospital or who are facing a potential placement breakdown.

We are also aspiring to reach those most vulnerable young people, by making sure that young people and families get the right support at the right time.

You'll also be part of wider Neurodevelopment Strategic planning as we embark on a journey of change in our pathways for all children who need them.


Main duties of the job:


You'll represent Clinical Psychology and the psychological professions within wider Inpatient Services, the Acute Hospital Trusts, Community Mental Health services network, other Trust's services and stakeholders, including Parent Carer Forums and the Voluntary sector.


To be responsible for a small caseload of highly complex presentations, providing a highly specialist systemic clinical psychology service and consultation, and part of a wider Multi-Disciplinary Group of Professionals across a range of services and agencies.


To take the Clinical Lead role in this highly motivated team to ensure safe, effective, timely and holistic interventions are delivered, monitoring outcomes in terms of our clinical practice but also supporting the keyworker role.
