About Our Client:

My client is a well established manufacturing business whose products are exported and respected globally.

Key responsibilities of the Supply Chain Administrator are:Position Overview


To ensure the effective and timely procurement of components and raw materials in order to provide 'On Time In Full' delivery of finished goods to customers.

Essential Job Functions/ Responsibilities

Develop a good understanding of component and raw material codes and 'Bills of Materials'

Communicating short and medium term requirements to suppliers;
Ensuring on time materials availability to enable 100% plan realisation;
Management and detailed analysis of obsolete and slow moving stocks;
Managing suppliers;
Liaising internally with the Logistics, Operations and Quality departments;
Liaising with U.K. based and international suppliers, customers and transporters;


The Successful Applicant:

Good standard of general education;
G.C.S.E. Mathematics and English, grades A*-C (or equivalent);
Understanding of supply chain and associated lead times;Experience of liaising in-house and externally with people at all levels.

Experience of working with MRP. Qualifications and Experience - Desirable Educated to A-level standard or equivalent;
Knowledge of Sage X3;
Experience of working in a FMCG/ pharmaceutical/automotive manufacturing environment;
Experience of working in a manufacturing environment; Page 2 of 2 Essential Skill RequirementsHigh proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office software, in particular MS Excel;
Ability to work as part of a team or on own initiative;
Conscientious, self-motivated & proactive;
Good written and verbal communication skills;
Desire to work in a fast paced environment;
Exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail;
A professional and positive attitude;
Ability to work under pressure to achieve tight deadlines;
Highly organised;
