Description
This is an exciting opportunity is in the Patient Services Department which is within the Facilities Division.


Catering duties will be to provide a high standard of food and drink service to ward areas within Chesterfield Royal Hospital.

Other duties include ensuring all kitchen areas are cleaned efficiently and in a timely manner to the required specified standards in line with Trust policy and ensuring patient's meals are served efficiently to assure food quality and to meet the required specification, in line with Trust policy.


The hours of work are:

There are currently three shift patterns with the hours of:

  • 08:00
  • 14:30 30 hours
08:00 - 14:3018 hours per week

15:00 - 19:30 16 hours per week this is a Dual Role

The rota will be based on 10 week rota basis which will include some weekends and bank holidays. The rota will be based on 10 week rota basis which will include some weekends and bank holidays.

Duties will include full use of all cleaning equipment, materials and cleaning agents in line with Trust technical cleaning method statements, Trust policies and legislation and to ensure full knowledge of all areas which are to be cleaned and deliver duties in accordance with the Work Schedule for the given area.

Cleaning must be undertaken in line with the Trust's cleaning methodologies stipulated in the Technical Method Statements (TMS).

A DBS is for the Patient Services Assistant role would be required (if not available one can be obtained by us)
