Salary:
£10.90 hour


Location:
Baycroft, Flitwick


Hours & Shift Pattern:40 hours per week, flexibility around hours, alternative weekends on a two-week rolling rota.

We are now recruiting a dynamic
Activities Coordinator to join our Care team and support us in delivering nutritious food and market-leading care to our residents.

Along with experience in an Activities Coordinator, you should have previousexperience developing an engaging and creative activities plan and ideally have previous experience working in an adult care setting.

And in return, you will be responsible for:

  • Developing and overseeing an active living programme for each resident, which supports mobility, social contact, independence, and fun.
  • Collaborating with the nursing and senior staff to assess strengths and capabilities of each resident in regard to activities of daily living.
  • Ensuring that any risk assessments have been carried out prior to any new planned activity or event.
  • Devising simple and safe activities which encourage movement and maintain joint flexibility and functional use of hands and fingers in activities.

Please note:
this role will require an enhanced DBS and proof of eligibility to work in the UK.
