Main Duties

Attendings site to carry out survey and obtain all relevant information of the claim, including images, dimensions, work details, etc.
Creating and submitting Schedule of Works that will return the site to a preloss condition based on survey findings via bespoke client scheduling tools and our own internal scheduling.
Providing a full comprehensive Report for the clients based on the survey and schedule.
When required, liaising with Project Managers to obtain information relation to Variations and submitting these within a timely manner.
Working directly with our client within the insurance network, as well as any private clients.
Understanding and updating client portals where necessary.
Management of your own case load from cradle to grave.
Reaching invoicing targets.
Work within insurance team to ensure SLAs are met and providing an excellent service to homeowners and clients.

What we are looking for

Experience in Surveying and Estimating.
Extensive knowledge of construction
Experience in working with scheduling tools/portals
Demonstrate a high level of communication skills with the ability to provide detailed information and advice in a clear and positive manner.
Have the ability to interact and communicate as appropriate with their audience, which will encompass colleagues, engineers, contract and performance managers and thirdparty suppliers.
Work effectively under pressure within a busy and diverse environment.
Show a creative approach to analysing and solving problems using technology and reported information.
Adhere to process and compliance requirements.
Work well as part of a team.
Full Driving License

Day to day duties will include surveying properties across the central belt of Scotland that have been affected by Fire, Flood, Escape of Water, Impact or Subsidence Damage.

Travelling out with the central belt may be required on occasion.
