Your Role at Vertice
This isn't a typical Product Design position. At least, not yet. We're at a very early stage, so you won't be inheriting legacy decisions, no broken systems and age-old issues.

It can be exciting or intimidating to start from scratch, but the fun part about being involved from the beginning is that you get to help decide how things work, and get stuck in building a fantastic company, both culturally and technically from a very early stage.

Reporting into our Design Lead and working closely with the rest of the Product team, you'll be responsible for building intuitive and friendly solutions to complex user problems — working on new analytics dashboards, data visualizations, and interaction patterns — all whilst helping to build a world-class digital design system.

What you'll be doing

• Working on solving complex design challenges with confidence.
• Tackling openended design questions and building a playbook for Product Design at Vertice.
• Partnering closely with product managers to ship new features and designs from scratch.
• Building relationships with engineers to collaborate on frontend component building.

Requirements:

• Have 3+ years experience working in a Product Design team and collaborating with engineering teams
• Working either remotely or inperson, but always with excellent communication skills, even across multiple Product and Engineering stakeholders
• Designed for web dashboards, portals, or data visualization tools

Things we like to see

• A great portfolio showcasing past Product Design work
• Any amount of B2B Software design or SaaS product experience
• Experience within a startup environment or smaller design team
• An interest in designing analytics, visualization or dataheavy interfaces
• Comfortable with moderately complex concepts, and an ability to talk confidently about software
• Humility, kindness and respect in working with others. We're hoping to create a supportive and caring culture of high performing people, and your attitude is just as important as your skillset
