We are looking for a Vehicle mechanic and restorer to work as part of a team restoring and operating vintage military vehicles.

Full time post based in MK18, previous experience of vintage vehicles an asset, restoration and mechanical engineering skills a benefit but most importantly we are seeking someone who want to learn and become a part of a close knit team.

Track and Wheel is a company based in Buckingham who specialise in the restoration, rebuild and servicing of military vehicles.

Acquiring and restoring vehicles for collectors, enthusiasts we specialise in early Second World War Vehicles, but we do all military vehicles as well as film work, historical consultancy etc.

You will work as part of a team and have immense pride in your work when a project reaches completion.

About you:

• An interest in historical military vehicles.

(We are open minded about your skill level and training/development can be provided, however with the role being specialist
- we are looking for somebody that can hit the ground running)

• A good history in mechanical engineering is almost a must.
• A history of working with fabrication, electrical as well as bodywork and upholstery, would be preferred.
• Able to work using your own initiative (following initial training)
• Meticulous about accuracy and attention to detail
• Discreet and respectful of the confidentiality of customers' collections, business and personal affairs
• A good work ethos

The role will be Full Time and based at our location near Buckingham. Salary commensurate depending on skill/experience. The role comes with a standard package of employment such as paid annual leave and a pension.
