Description
Futureworks is seeking a dynamic and dedicated Performance & Quality Manager to lead our Inspiring Futures project. This initiative aims to prepare Year 11, 12, and 13 pupils years) for the transition to the post-16 world of work or work-focused learning.


Key Responsibilities:


Project Management:

  • Oversee the implementation of the Inspiring Futures project, ensuring alignment with organisational objectives.
  • Develop and execute project plans, closely monitoring and adjusting strategies as needed.

Team Management:

  • Lead and manage a dedicated team, providing guidance, training and support to ensure successful project delivery.

Quality Assurance:

  • Establish and uphold quality standards, continuously evaluating and improving project effectiveness.

Partnership Development:

  • Cultivate strong relationships with local organisations and businesses to facilitate work placements.
  • Collaborate with employers to identify and integrate key employment sectors.

Transition Support:

  • Provide support to pupils in transitioning to post16 work or workfocused learning. Offer valuable career advice and guidance on career pathways.

Bid Preparation:

  • Assist in preparing bids for successor programmes to secure funding for future initiatives.
  • Stay informed about funding opportunities and contribute to proposal development.

Reporting and Documentation:

  • Maintain accurate records of project activities, outcomes, and participant feedback. Prepare regular reports for internal and external stakeholders on project progress and impact.

Qualifications and Skills:


Education and Experience:
Relevant degree in project management, education, or related field. Proven project management experience, particularly in the education or skills development sector.

Knowledge:
Familiarity with skills initiatives, post-16 transition programmes, and the education sector. Understanding of employer engagement and partnership building.

Communication Skills:
Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration with diverse stakeholders.

Organisational Skills:
Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities for efficient project management.

Adaptability:
Flexibility to adapt strategies based on project needs and external factors.


Job Types:
Full-time, Temporary contract


Salary:
£33,945.00-£38,223.00 per year
