About The Role
We are looking for a
Payroll Administrator to join our team in Bristol, UK.


This role will be responsible for working with the Team Lead to ensure all Payrolls are completed accurately, on time, and all required outputs are produced and delivered.


The Payroll Administrator will ensure excellent customer service is delivered at all times and within SLA's - via ServiceNow to all customers.


What will I be doing?

  • Processing all incoming payroll impacting information and transactions eg, new starters, leavers, absence, statutory leave and pay, tax codes & NI category changes,
  • Processing all weekly and/or monthly variable pay instructions from sites eg, bonuses, shift allowances, overtime etc.
  • Producing and submitting all BACS and any other external or 3rd party payment files including RTI and AE information.
  • Administration of European Payrolls when bought in house.
  • Producing and delivering high quality payroll output files to customers that comprise payslips, reports, KPI's etc.
  • Dealing with correspondence to employees, sites and external parties eg, overpayment recovery letters, Benefits Agency/Child support requests for information, financial references etc.
  • Ensuring all required controls are correctly operated and all required evidence is produced and retained, resulting in a robust and secure Payroll process.
  • Continuous excellence proactively recommending improvements/problem solving to existing processes based on the identification of recurring issues or possible future risks.

  • Relevant payroll experience is essential for this role
  • Experience of balancing the needs and priorities of both weekly and monthly payrolls.
  • Experience of running payrolls for multiple sites across multiple geographical locations
  • A strong understanding of, and passion for, delivering excellent customer service.
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Experience of Microsoft office (Outlook, Excel, word etc).
  • Analytical thinking and problemsolving skills will be required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential
