Job Description:

This role is a Fixed-Term Contract (FTC) or Internal Secondment Opportunity until May 2024

NEW GROUND WON'T BREAK ITSELF.

Every day our teams help people in businesses and communities to do what is right and achieve their goals.

Transport is a core sector within our Public Services Advisory offering.

Today, transport infrastructure is seen as a stimulator of economic growth and regeneration, rather than being responsive to increasing demand.

Governments around the world consider improved transport services as a means of increasing competitiveness within national, regional, urban and local economies.

But transport authorities must balance economic, environmental, technical, and safety interests within a context of limited funding and long lead-times for the development of new infrastructure.

These constraints accentuate a need for rigorous, evidence-based analysis and innovative thinking.

We are market leaders in the public sector transport advisory space, regularly competing and winning against the Big 4 accounting firms.

We are involved in some of the most high profile capital projects in the UK and are often shaping the strategic direction of both public and private sector clients.

We are looking to expand our team of expert advisers with a focus on the financial aspects of transport infrastructure.

A look into the role

  • Identify, anticipate and mitigate potential risks in relation to achievement of strategic objectives and to other business areas
  • Engage in effective stakeholder management to senior members of the business to drive delivery of quality outcomes to your 'customers';
  • Develop and enforce effective policy, frameworks and other governance mechanisms within the organisation
