Role overview:

Day-to-day account management and commercial liaison with customers. Project management on new business acquisition, and potential business opportunities. Management of quotation activities, submissions, negotiations, and order progress from the customer.

This role is based in Wolverhampton.


Main Responsibilities:


  • Management of dataincluding price, cost movement recovery, engineering changes and claims. Preparation of planning data. Reporting and supply data for business planning purposes. Maintain internal sales management data
  • Ensure compliance with all Company QES
  • Research activities on customer & competitors
  • Manage and track Customer enquiries, KPI track quotation timings.
  • Ensuring customer agreements and procedures are followed correctly.
  • Communicate to all stakeholders in a concise and professional manner
  • Download, manage and distribute all customer purchase orders.
  • Manage opportunities, update as customer enquiries evolve.
Key requirements

  • Have a proven account management background, in the automotive sector. Or Manufacturing.
  • Current Driving license travel to other sites and customer will be required when necessary.
  • Strong numerical acumen
  • Must be able to compile data in a structured and logical way (Competence in SAP, MS office, excellence in Excel).
  • Good Commercial awareness & financial understanding.
  • Logical approach to problem resolution, negotiation ,data management, reporting etc.
  • Experience in the development of automotive components.
  • Ability to conduct high level and complex negotiations.
