As our business continues to grow, we are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Warehouse & Logistics Administrator to join our team and support the day-to-day operations of our warehouse & logistics department.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and communicate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and resolve any issues that may arise.
- Maintain accurate stock records and monitor inventory levels to ensure optimum stock availability.
- Place orders with suppliers based on demand forecasts and stock analysis.
- Update product information, pricing, and availability on the ecommerce website (WooCommerce) to ensure accurate and uptodate product listings.
- Collaborate with the warehouse staff to manage incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring efficient loading, unloading, and storage of goods.
- Coordinate delivery schedules with drivers and provide them with necessary instructions and documentation.
- Track and monitor shipments to ensure ontime delivery and proactively address any delays or issues.
- Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers, warehouse staff, drivers, and other internal departments.
- Assist in identifying process improvement opportunities to enhance overall logistics efficiency.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in logistics and ecommerce operations.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Previous experience in a similar logistics or supply chain role is highly desirable.
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and recordkeeping.
- Proficient in using ecommerce platforms, particularly WooCommerce or similar systems.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to liaise effectively with suppliers, warehouse staff, drivers, and other stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Uses initiative.
- Strong problemsolving skills and the ability to think critically in highpressure situations.
Salary and Benefits:
The salary for this position is up to £27,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
