About the Role:
At Essity, we have an excellent role at our Trafford Park site in Manchester as a Assistant Controller.
We are looking for someone with strong experience in manufacturing finance who has worked on a production site with preferably SAP skills (but not essential).
The Assistant Controller (IDC) You will act as a business partner with operations on site taking an active role in forecasting, budget process, product costing, investment/CAPEX accounting and the cost review process supporting our IDC.
The role would suit someone who has high attention to detail and strong drive to make improvements with excellent communication skills.

What You Will Do:
In this role, you will:
- Act as a business partner with the operations areas on site
- Monitor and followup of cost performance and deviation analysis
- Forecast and budget preparation
- Monitor and followup of the respective business unit cost performance and deviations
- Contribute to defining reporting guidelines, instructions, and content in creation of budget and forecast for the business unit.
Who You Are:
We would like to hear from you if you have the following:
- Experience in SAP R3 or S/4 highly desirable
- Hold or are working towards a professional qualification (AAT/CIMA/ACCA))
- Have experience, ideally in a finance production/ manufacturing environment
- Experience of using Power BI is desirable
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fastpaced environment adapting to change
- Ability to analyse and draw conclusions from large volumes of data
- Have strong written and verbal communication skills, to effectively interpret and present information across all levels of the business
