Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join our team.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with students, educators, and parents to provide support and assistance in the classroom.

Your role will be crucial in creating a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students.

Responsibilities:

Assist the lead teacher in implementing lesson plans and educational activities
Provide oneonone support to students with special needs, including those with autism
Foster a nurturing and supportive environment that encourages student engagement and participation
Collaborate with the lead teacher to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
Monitor student progress and provide feedback to the lead teacher
Assist with classroom management and behavior management strategies
Help prepare instructional materials and maintain an organized classroom environment
Supervise students during recess, lunchtime, and other noninstructional periods
Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding student progress

Qualifications:

Experience working with children, particularly those with special needs or autism
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Strong ability to educate and engage students of diverse backgrounds and abilities
Knowledge of special education practices and strategies
Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with children
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
