Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join our team.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with students, educators, and parents to provide support and assistance in the classroom.

Your role will be crucial in creating a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students.


Responsibilities:


  • Assist the lead teacher in implementing lesson plans and educational activities
  • Provide oneonone support to students with special needs, including those with autism
  • Foster a nurturing and supportive environment that encourages student engagement and participation
  • Collaborate with the lead teacher to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Monitor student progress and provide feedback to the lead teacher
  • Assist with classroom management and behavior management strategies
  • Help prepare instructional materials and maintain an organized classroom environment
  • Supervise students during recess, lunchtime, and other noninstructional periods
  • Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding student progress

Qualifications:

  • Experience working with children, particularly those with special needs or autism
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong ability to educate and engage students of diverse backgrounds and abilities
  • Knowledge of special education practices and strategies
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with children
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team

Job Types:
Full-time, Part-time, Temporary contract, Temp to perm


Salary:
£87.00-£90.00 per day

Education:


  • GCSE or equivalent (preferred)

Experience:
