Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join our team.
As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with students, educators, and parents to provide support and assistance in the classroom.
Your role will be crucial in creating a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students.Responsibilities:
- Assist the lead teacher in implementing lesson plans and educational activities
- Provide oneonone support to students with special needs, including those with autism
- Foster a nurturing and supportive environment that encourages student engagement and participation
- Collaborate with the lead teacher to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback to the lead teacher
- Assist with classroom management and behavior management strategies
- Help prepare instructional materials and maintain an organized classroom environment
- Supervise students during recess, lunchtime, and other noninstructional periods
- Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding student progress
Qualifications:
- Experience working with children, particularly those with special needs or autism
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong ability to educate and engage students of diverse backgrounds and abilities
- Knowledge of special education practices and strategies
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with children
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
Job Types:
Full-time, Part-time, Temporary contract, Temp to perm
Salary:
£87.00-£90.00 per day

Education:
- GCSE or equivalent (preferred)
Experience:
- Special education: 1 year (preferred)
