We are looking to hire two highly motivated professionals as a Logistics Executive and Assistant, to work in the fast-paced, exciting sector of supply chain management.

In these positions, you will play a key role in all facets of the company's international trade requirements, including domestic and international shipping by both sea, train and air, overseeing all operational aspects of the supply chain.

Depending on experience, responsibilities for these roles will include but are not limited to planning, co-ordinating and monitoring people, products and processes for sea, train, and air shipments; as well as trucking to several destinations.

The logistics team will be responsible for overseeing, analysing, and comparing freight rates to ensure budget objectives are met as well as maintaining communication with various shippers and calculating the weight and volume, ensuring that each step of the process is taken timely and correctly.

You will have exceptional written and spoken English, be highly numerate with an excellent grasp of worldwide geography as well as being a strong user of the Microsoft Office suite (especially Excel).

• At least 1 years' experience within an international transportation/logistics position
• Understanding of the import and export business and the nuances of shipping through different countries and channels
• Outstanding organisational and time management skills

• Qualification to at least A level standard or equivalent in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management or Geography
• An interest or experience in international business
