Wynne-Jones IP is a UK and European IP firm specialising in patents, trade marks, designs, IP strategy, IP licensing and enforcement, IP audits and IP renewals.

We have been helping businesses to protect IP for nearly 60 years.

Our client portfolio spans an impressive mix of private individuals, multinationals, large technology-based companies, SMEs, and Universities, be they local, national, or international.

We are looking for an Intellectual Property Administrator to provide administrative services within our Formalities team.

The Formalities team is an integral part of Wynne-Jones, delivering paralegal and administrative support to our trade mark and patent attorneys in provision of IP services.

Your Responsibilities


You will be involved in a wide variety of administrative tasks that support our attorneys, paralegals, and other team members within the firm.

This includes, for example, the preparation of basic client correspondence and official correspondence with various Intellectual Property Offices, assisting with new client onboarding processes, providing administrative support relating to client account management, and other ad hoc tasks as needed.

The Formalities team is heavily involved with our electronic case management system.

Therefore, you will be responsible for inputting data and correspondence into the system, creating new cases, verifying data, and other tasks as required.


You will need to be competent with the use of all aspects of Microsoft Office and the use of interactive web services.

You will also need to be able to write clearly and concisely in a professional manner.

You will be responsible for organising and prioritising your own work, and meeting internal and external deadlines, monitoring tasks on our internal systems, and understanding your own and your colleagues' work priorities to enable all deadlines to be met.

Accuracy is important in all aspects of our work.

You will need to check not only your own work, but to assist other by checking theirs, and to ask others to check yours.

This role is based in our Gloucester Office.


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum of 5 GCSEs at grade 4 or above including Maths and English (or equivalent)
