Job description - Sales Associate (Finance)

In this Technology Sales Associate role, you will be joining the sales team and help build, manage, and engage with prospective and existing clients for technology licensing opportunities for the exchange technology infrastructure and services provided by the firm.

This role will involve working to identify target prospective clients, key contacts, possible product offerings and qualifying the targets while understanding the overall sales stage process of pipeline building and conversion, as well as contributing to the future requirements product development roadmap.


Key responsibilities - Sales Associate (Finance)

  • In this Technology Sales Associate role in London, your responsibilities will include:_
  • Building up the target pipeline and profile target functional requirements (asset class etc)
  • Working as part of a wider team on all documentation / tasks required throughout the deal lifecycle such as RFP responses, commercial structure compilation, workshops.
  • Researching and targeting likely current engine supplier and building up approximate contract renewal timelines.
  • Maintaining relationships with existing clients as part of an account management function
  • Initiating contact with leads/prospects and work to move them through the sales stages, qualifying and reporting on all opportunities in a timely and proactive manner.
  • Working with Operations, Product, Infrastructure, QA and Development to build a standardised product offering and ensure appropriate timelines for delivery to appropriately manage client expectations

Job requirements - Sales Associate (Finance)

  • A 2.1 from a topranked university
  • A right to work in the UK
  • 2 years + experience in Sales
  • Excellent knowledge of trading and the current market
  • A genuine interest in the financial markets, and the confidence to discuss key market trends
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken
  • Attention to detail and highly numerate
  • An excellent team player, with an ability to work on your own initiative
