ASQ Education is recruiting for a primary SEN Teaching Assistantat a warm and welcoming primary special needs school with a fantastic reputation in the Haringey area.


  • Some experience supporting children with special needs.
  • Overseas police clearances (if applicable).
  • 2 professional references.
  • CV with a full education & work history.
  • Have the legal right to work in the UK.

The role:

  • Primary SEN Teaching Assistant at special needs primary school.
  • Starting ASAP, full time, 8:30am 3:30pm, Monday to Friday.
  • Could turn permanent eventually for the right person.
  • Pay up to £90/day.
  • School caters for young people aged 311 with Autism & Complex Needs which can include physical needs as well as speech & language difficulties.
  • Supporting small groups of no more than 68 pupils.
  • Pupils are grouped by needs & levels rather than age.
  • You will need to provide support with managing emotions and behaviour in order for learning to happen.
  • You will need to build strong relationships with each young person.
  • They work as a team so as the new SEN Teaching Assistant you will need to be a collaborative, patient, hardworking, resilient, empathetic, honest & fair.
  • In return you will get great support from your colleagues including management, access to fantastic CPD opportunities and a great rate of pay, with the chance to move on to a contract.
  • Easily accessible by bus or car.
