This Client is a highly respected builder of new homes that offers an innovative and diverse range of new build properties throughout the UK.

Their homes combine traditional design features with contemporary home comforts and they pride themselves on their attention to detail and painstaking craftsmanship.

They are insistent on meeting stringent standards and put quality above all else.


Over their 23 year history they have overseen the development of over 1000 homes and their current development portfolio consists of over 1200 plots.

They have a dedicated allocation team whose sole purpose is to bring new sustainable development land through the unitary development plan (UDP) so they may continue to provide homes of distinction for the foreseeable future.

**A new and exciting opportunity has become available for an Engineer/ Technical Coordinator to join an establish team and to help develop the business.

The responsibilities and duties of this role includes but doesn't limit you to;
~ Coordinate the production of layouts and working drawings.
~ Assisting in fee negotiations and the appointment of consultants
~ Initial negotiations/enquiries with statutory bodies on environmental, drainage, highways and other engineering issues when apprising land.
~ POS, S38, 104 adoptions. Inspect road and sewer works from commencement to formal adoption by Local Authority. You must ensure works are carried out within an agreed budget and time scale
~ Provide technical support and information to Construction, Commercial and Sales departments and maintain good communication to ensure the required service is maintained
~ Brief and commission site investigations, topographical survey and other assessment reports on land acquisition.
~ Ensure that all pre-and post-development technical information is received, co-ordinated, distributed on time and within budget whilst liaising closely with Group Technical.
~ Register each development with the NHBC and building warrant/control (where applicable), upload EPCs & discharge building regulation conditions and any relevant completion certificates


Person Specification:


Knowledge of most of the development / technical process with the ability to learn more and contribute to areas not originally within their specialism.

Attention to detail and organisation skills are key to the success within this role.

You must also be able to demonstrate excellent communication, innovation and team working skills.

Working knowledge/experience of engineering and CDM regulations.

Previous experience as project support within either architecture or engineering is essential.


Point to note; Ideally my Client requires someone with an engineering bias but they would consider someone from an architectural background. This opportunity will lead to further progression within the company.
