Business Support Officer Adult Social Care
We are currently recruiting for a Business Support Officer on behalf of a public sector organisation based in Romford.
Adult social care services in Essex to help you manage everyday tasks and support you to live a healthy and independent life.
- Supporting people to live healthy lives
- Making sure people get treatment and care locally or in their own homes.
- Regularly checking that the work is being done
- Helping people that might need care and support sooner
- Giving people a choice of different organisations that could care for them
- Providing more support for carers
- Booking in Multi agency's such as Physiotherapy/ Occupational
- Regular check in's to confirm support is being met
Essential skills required:
- To be able to work in a fast pace multi matrix management team
- To be able to multi-task and demonstrate a flexible approach to workload management to ensure various administrative tasks are completed in order of priority
- To be able to learn and utilise different databases
- To have a solution focused approach
- To provide high quality, consistent, efficient and effective support services within agreed timescales.
- To support various operational and business management teams
- To provide minute-taking support to various service areas (desirable but training can be provided)
- To support diary management, including planning and facilitating meetings and events
- To undertake any other duties commensurate with the level of responsibility of this post
- To deliver support services that ensure high customer satisfaction
- To work effectively as a member of the Business Support Team and collaborate with colleagues where required
£14.31 per hour, paid weekly PAYE
Based within Romford
Monday to Friday - 36 hours per week
This position will be going through to interviews to take place immediately
