You're probably currently in a Compliance Manager role but your ultimate career goal is to become a Head of Compliance.

What you ideally need is a Senior ComplianceManager position that will then allow you to make that next step up.

This firm is looking to hire a Senior Compliance Manager who can develop with the business and ultimately become their first Head of Compliance.

This is an ideal opportunity to step up and show what you can do.

You'll have plenty of autonomybut also have the support of a very experienced COO who currently holds both SMF16 and SMF17 (and who has also done so previously) and a leading external Compliance consultancy.


Working closely with the Leadership team, you'll be responsible for providing Compliance leadership and guidance for the business, as they continue to develop and launch new products.

You'll ensure the firm is kept abreast of any regulatory changes, assessingtheir impact and responding accordingly.


You'll also monitor and identify compliance and conduct risks across the entire business and also assist the MLRO with ongoing Financial Crime Compliance.


You'll be an experienced Compliance specialist with experience in the mortgages arena (a good working knowledge of MCOB regulations is essential) and the ability to balance governance and commerciality.

You'll also be happy to roll up your sleeves and 'get stuck in'. As the first dedicated Compliance hire for the business, the role will be very hands-on. You must also possess excellent communication and presentations skills.
