Street Cleaning Operative


LOCATION:
Louth and surrounding area


SALARY:
£22,366 - £23,500 per annum


We are recruiting for Street Cleaning Operatives to join our friendly Neighbourhood Services team here at the Louth depot


Our team are responsible for keeping our towns, villages, green spaces and foreshores clean and tidy for residents and visitors alike, working shifts and in all weather conditions.

You will be joining a dedicated and hardworking team that operates in all weathers throughout the year.


Typical duties:


  • Assist in the maintenance and cleansing of the Councils public buildings, parks and open spaces.
  • Ensuring that vehicles and plant are clean and in good working order, and only used if you have the relevant training.
  • Caretaking duties (holiday/sickness cover)
  • Responsible for maintaining health, safety and welfare of self, other employees and members of the public ensuring adherence to safe working practices and environmental procedures.

What do we need from you:

  • Be able to work unsupervised and collaboratively as part of a team
  • Good general standard of education
  • Current valid driving licence


We are looking for individuals who have excellent team working skills, time management skills and someone with a high degree of attention to detail.
