_Promoting a high-end range of dry lining and internal dry wall products. Tracking commercial projects with architects, main contractors and specialist subcontractors across the South West and South Coast region._


Package:
circa £40k-£45k basic +20% OTE (+40% achievable with over-riders), car, laptop, mobile, pension & 24 day's holiday

Territory:
South West - Bristol to Cornwall & across to Southampton - Bristol & Southampton are the areas two hot-spots

Products:
Specialist dry lining and internal dry wall products, with a wide range of complimentary flooring, tiling and cladding products to add-on and up-sell

Customers:
Architects, main contractors, subcontractors, dry liners and distributors - with the emphasis on the education and healthcare sectors


The Role - Area Sales Manager:

  • Inheriting an established and well-performing area from a recently promoted ASM
  • Tracking and winning commercial projects with architects, main and subcontractors
  • Promoting a highend range of dry lining and internal dry wall products, alongside a complimentary range of flooring, tiling and cladding materials
  • The emphasis will be on winning projects from within the education and healthcare sector, but not exclusively
  • Working with five main contractors on supplychain agreements, as well as equally securing specifications with architects and specifiers
  • All projects will be backsold through an established network of dry lining contractors and specialist distributors
  • A fantastic range of products with loads of USP's, based around strength, durability, acoustic and fire protection qualities

The Successful Applicant:


  • A field sales professional with a proven track record within the construction industry
  • Applicants with commercial interiors or specification backgrounds will be readily received, but is by no means essential
  • Most important is you can demonstrate transferable sales skills from within the construction industry
  • As well as having a professional and structured approach to solution sales, whilst being proactive and target driven
