Administrator - Maternity Cover
Hours:24-30 hours per week (expected to be a maximum of 11 months in total). Flexible working hours may be considered.
Hourly Rate:
£12-£14 per hour depending on experience.
Contract:
Temporary contract.
Notice Period:
One month's notice to be given by either side, except in particular circumstances decided by Trustees.
Reporting to:
The post-holder reports directly to the Trustee Board. Accountability, initial mentoring and appraisal will be provided via a nominated Trustee. The post-holder will work closely with the therapists in managing delivery of The Windfall Centre's services.
Holidays: 20 days holiday (pro-rata for part-time) plus Bank Holidays.

This post is based in The Windfall Centre, Gwalia Annex, Ithon Road, Llandrindod Wells, LD1 6AS.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for financial security of the service; negotiating and managing contracts, management overview of income and outgoings, payroll, service costs and expenditure, budget forecastsand digital security.
- Signatory to bank account.
- Liaising with Treasurer, providing financial reports for Trustees' meetings.
- Contact with accountants, ensuring accounts signed off, timely submission of annual return to Charity Commission. Completion of annual Business Plan. Ensuring register of Trustees at Companies House kept uptodate.
- Liaising with external service providers (landlord, building maintenance, facilities and utilities) and oversee procurement of equipment, goods and services.
- Administrative support to the therapists. Responsible for Quality Control of documentation, including policies and procedures and website editing, in accordance with internal procedures.
- Maintaining uptodate personnel files on staff and therapists.
- Ensuring uptodate checks from DBS in relation to all staff and trustees.
- Monitoring compliance with contractual obligations of all staff and therapists, including the cleaner.
- Overseeing a safe working environment, ensuring compliance with Health and Safety policy and legislation, maintenance of accident log and annual leave.
- Ensuring necessary policies and procedures in place and adhered to, including data collection and analysis for reporting purposes.
- Liaising closely with Trustee Board and reporting directly. Meeting regularly with Chair/nominated Trustee and attending meetings as required by Trustees.
- Maintaining confidentiality and respect for the privacy of children and their families.

- Setting up videoconferencing as required.

- Good organisational skills with the ability to be selfmotivated and selfmanaged.
- Good time management skills, including the ability to manage workload and to forwardplan effectively.
- Financially literate with experience of negotiating and managing contracts, financial reporting and budgeting.
- Effective interpersonal skills including the ability to negotiate, mediate and manage conflict and complexity.
- High level of computer literacy. Competent and motivated to use electronic media in undertaking job role.
- Required to undertake appropriate DBS check and other safeguarding measures as identified.
- Ability to speak Welsh
