Due to additional demand an opportunity has arisen for the role of Yard operative to come and join our successful team and enjoy working in a thriving and busy work environment where team working is encouraged.

The Yard operative is responsible for receiving goods inwards into the Yard, storing delivered goods in the correct location and keeping the Yard tidy and free from obstacles.

Loading of materials orders onto customer or transport vehicles.

To load ordered goods and deliver them safely with a 3.5 tonne pick up vehicle and to supervise safe offloading of delivered materials.

Certain deliveries require a towed trailer to provide the bed space necessary to accommodate the materials to be delivered.

An essential part of the role includes HDPE small tank assembly to complete the tanks ready for sale as these Tanks are a important part of our core product offering.

Comprehensive training will be provided to the successful applicant who should enjoy the responsibility placed upon them and job satisfaction in seeing these Tanks successfully built.

A forklift licence is essential for this part of the role.

The role requires flexibility to perform all necessary duties including supporting the Stores Team with goods inwards duties, stock checking and verification, this list is not exhaustive list.

A current clean Driving Licence as well as good knowledge of the NE area is essential, previous experience in a similar role is preferred.

Experience in towing a trailer and securing loads safely is also essential.

The successful applicant will be required to provide two x references.

An excellent package, including specific training and corporate clothing is offered.
