We've recently been asked to mobilise an Enforcement Team, to support the local Council in the issuing of PCN's and clamping of lorry drivers parking inappropriately within the county.


The Enforcement Officer will support to use high-tech equipment to locate and carry out enforcement action on lorries parked incorrectly.

This is a fixed term contract for around 6 months.

What you'll be doing

  • To liaise with members of the public and give advice regarding the clamp and fines.
  • To advise the public on payment methods and other issues regarding enforcement action taken on their vehicle.
  • Can often work with other agencies, when required including, Police, DVLA and VOSA.
  • Deals with enquiries from the public regarding enforcement action and ensures the relevant information packs are available.
  • Must be flexible in their attitude to working hours, locations and must be prepared to take on other roles, temporarily, as required by the operation.
  • Be presentable and show high levels of personal integrity and honesty.
  • Attends a daily briefing and collects all declamp information and reports relevant to the days work.
  • Ensures all vehicles and enforcement equipment is serviceable and fit for purpose, reports all faults to the Pound Manager. All relevant stationary, clamps and locks are on the vehicle.
  • Completes daily reports regarding activities, clamp loads and equipment issues.
What you'll need

  • Driving licence
  • Computer literate.
  • Ability to communicate with the public, often in difficult and demanding circumstances.
  • Ability to compile simple reports
  • Customer service

Salary:
£24,310.00 per year


Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift

Supplemental pay types:

  • Bonus scheme
