Description
We're looking for a Communications Officer to join Kier Construction.

Within this role, you can enjoy a company car/car allowance, pension matched up to 7.5%, 26 days holidays + bank holidays and even more.


Location:
Solihull, Rushden or Cambridge


Contract:
Permanent - full time, flexible hours available


Responsibilities


As Communications Officer, you will support the delivery of the Kier Construction communications strategy by supporting on the planning and implementation of a range of internal and external communications activities which support new business aspirations, build employee engagement, build brand awareness and safeguard our reputation, primarily in the Eastern & Midlands region.

Duties and responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Copywriting for a range of channels and audiences including press releases and internal communications
  • Creation, posting and measurement of social media
  • Creation and posting of internal communications
  • Ownership of Kier Construction E&M regional website pages, content and reporting
  • Support the delivery of events and represent Kier Construction at exhibitions as required
  • Support the delivery of marketing campaigns and communication materials as required.
  • Manage the planned communication activity trackers

Who are we looking for?
Applicants will be required to have the following skills and attributes:

  • Outstanding writing skills across a range of channels
  • Experience producing communications materials for internal and external use
  • Excellent organisation skills with the ability to keep track of and use information from multiple sources.
  • Strong relationship skills with the ability to network and organise others
  • Arranging and attending events
  • Willingness to travel
