Job Description:


We are offering an exciting opportunity for an experienced HV Lead Coordinator to take a prominent role in supporting the best performance of our Offshore Wind farms, enabling fossil free energy Do you want to take part in our mission?
In our Business Unit Offshore Wind we are responsible for developing, constructing and maintaining Offshore Wind farms across Europe.

For our UK portfolio, in our O&M Delivery team we are now looking to hire an HV Lead Coordinator to be based within the UK Regional Support team.

Regional Support works to provide standardized site support to the operating offshore wind farms in the Region, responsible for the first line support to the various sites and act as the liaison to Technical Support.


What will you do?

As HV Lead Coordinator you are responsible for the maintenance and troubleshooting of substations (onshore & offshore) and the Wind Turbine Generators.

You will be the first point of contact between Site and the Fast Response Plan HV-Team.


The HV Lead Coordinator will operate, maintain, and troubleshoot all present technical system (mechanical and Electrical) on the substation and service related to HV on the turbines.

You must provide safety supervision and technical guidance to work parties under his responsibility on the local asset but also on remote assets.


The HV Lead Coordinator will act as a role model, and lead, assist, prioritize, prepare, plan, and schedule all work activities including administration of SAP (maintenance system) and must develop effective stockkeeping of critical spare parts with the aim of high availability of the assets.


Furthermore, you will:

  • Maintain and structure technical site documentation and understanding of a variety of documents like VF OCP's, Platform operation manuals, RAMS;
  • Maintain an awareness of common, reoccurring faults found during service and report these observations to the Technical Engineer;
  • Supervise and lead teams of internal and external Technicians carrying out HV service (WTG and OSS) ensuring a consistent high level of quality, efficiency and safety;
  • Deliver technical training and where applicable act as Appointed Person or trainer in WTSR;
  • Plan, execute and report on all HV maintenance campaigns;
  • Develop advanced service knowledge and skills on sites;
  • Enable synergies across the region;
  • Coordinate with HV Control Centre for technical support, O+M strategies, lessons learnt, legislative and regulatory compliance;
  • Prepare project packages to the sites for implementation;

Location
The location of this position is flexible across the UK. Based at one of our operational sites (Ramsgate, Ormonde, Aberdeen, Norfolk). You will be required to travel regularly to all UK site's and occasionally abroad.


Qualifications:


Who are you?
As our HV Lead Coordinator you will bring a strong drive and business mind set. You have an open and positive leadership style, eager to share your knowledge and vision with your colleagues. Scheduling and planning of work comes naturally to you and you are pro-active in continuously improving.


Next to this you bring:

  • Electrical Engineering, Electrical Technician background or similar;
  • Relevant work experience as HV Engineer;
  • 33kV Senior Authorized Person Qualified;
  • Familiar with operating SCADA systems and running HV systems.
  • Operations & Maintenance knowledge and experiencepreferable within the wind industry;
  • Project management experience;
  • Advance ITskills in general, preferably with SAP;
  • Fluency in English.
