We are working with a North Yorkshire business with a great working culture who are on the lookout for a Residential Conveyancer to join their sales team in their Wetherby office.

This role would suit an experienced Residential Conveyancer looking to takea step away from private practice and fee earning instead working in house on the progression of property sales.


Duties and responsibilities

  • Managing and prioritising your workload to meet your individual targets
  • Maintaining up to date information on the status of each client's individual case and circumstances, keeping clients and third parties updated at all stages
  • You will support the department with all progression and general administrative tasks to ensure the smooth running of the department
  • Arranging valuations of properties whilst updating managers on your team on the progression of relevant deals
  • You will arrange for contracts and other legal documentation to be signed whilst encouraging team members to record their key milestones using the case management system and portal
  • You will manage the progress of transactions from contracts all the way to completion
  • You will ideally have a solid background in residential conveyancing and be looking to take the next step in your career away from a private practice setting
  • Organisation and prioritisation skills are essential to be successful in this role
  • Will have an outstanding telephone manner with the ability to build solid relationships with clients and third parties
  • Be proactive and forwardthinking with a keen eye for team and business initiatives, ensuring a positive and friendly environment is always upheld within the office
