Description

We are looking for a Housekeeping Team Member to join our team.

The role:

You will be responsible for high standard of cleanliness of the departure rooms in your assigned section, and public, service areas at the hotel.

You will be the key member who immaculately cleans departures and looks after the hotel, and provides a daily housekeeping service for the stay-overs.

Responsibilities:

Cleaning: guest rooms after departure, stayover rooms, as well as to clean public areas, corridors, lobbyreception area, stairways, and storage areas daily.
Organizing your work from the room status list provided each morning by a Reception Team;
Distributing linen, towels and room supplies by hand in your storage areas;
Restocking, refilling room supplies such as towels, soaps, shampoos, informing Reception about any missing items;
Replacing dirty linen for stayovers with clean, and as per room status list will be noted linen change (every 3 days);
Storing all dirty linen in line with company policy in the right place;
Checking all appliances in rooms are in working order, informing Reception Team if any faulty, damaged items found;
Realigning furniture and amenities according to the prescribed layout of the rooms;
Ensuring confidentiality and security of Guests and their belongings in the guest rooms;
Following all company safety and security, lost and found procedures, any found items must be brought to Reception Team immediately;
Reporting any maintenance issues or safety hazards to Reception Team;

Values that we are looking for:

Previous experience working in Housekeeping department preferred, but not essential for this role;
Basics of the English language;
Knowledge of cleaning and sanitation products, techniques and methods for fine standards of cleaning and polishing items;
Knowledge of cleaning sensitive materials;
Working knowledge of operating cleaning equipment;
Physical stamina and mobility including the ability to reach, kneel and bend;
Ability to lift, push and pull a required load;

In line with UK Immigration legislation, all applicants must currently be eligible to live and work in the UK.

Salary:
£9.50 per hour
