My client is a luxury fashion brand who are currently on the hunt for a Data Engineer to join their BI Platform Team.

This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a dynamic team that will be working on a cloud integration, self-serve analytics and supportingthe data scientists in the Innovation Team.

What you'll be doingReporting to the Data Engineering Manager, you'll help the business by ingesting from various sources into the staging area, transforming it and enabling end users to access it through Power BI.

You'll work alongside Software Engineers and Data Scientists to deploy solutions, supporting the company's data roadmap and assisting stakeholder's business decision making.

20% of your time will be with the data scientists and the other 80% focused on the platform and the wider business.

This is a great opportunity for someone with an interest in data engineering and data visualisation, fashion and deploying exciting technology at scale.

You will also have the opportunity to progress to the lead data engineer next year, as the team plans tomake at least 2 more hires in 2023.

What experience you'll need:

Experience with Python and SQL
Cloud experience, AWS or GCP ideally
Some experience using data viz tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker or similar)
GitHub/similar repository experience
Autonomous mindset
