Team Lead Roles

Team Leads:
-
Day to day oversight and facilitation of all aspects of Great Northern Classics.
- People
- Be a cornerstone of the Leadership team, jointly agree staffing and supervision rosters, reporting to the board, identify, prioritise and direct your own shared workload.
- Identify, recruit, train, inspire, grow and retain the GNC team so they want to belong
- Enthuse enthusiasts both local and further afield (they pay the bills)
- Ensure GNC is the location of choice for Heritage Vehicle Specialists and traders in the East Midlands
- Work with and embrace the local community
- Be a great neighbour
- Keep GNC fun and always interesting
- A place where visitors, customers and staff want to keep returning to
- Communicate brilliantly
- Keep the transfer of specialist skills from generation to generation at the centre of decision making
- Exhibit real leadership and set standards by example
- Site Management
- Establish and maintain enviable working and behavioural practices
- Ensure the health and safety of employees, visitors and tenants
- Manage tenants, employees and visitors safe and civil behaviour
- Identify and comply with all legal, environmental and regulatory requirements
- Financial
- Set and report against effective KPIs.
- Annual budget setting
- Stick to or better the business plan
- Make the management Incentive scheme pay to excess

- Prudent fiscally aware and responsible, capable of handling contentious issues
Specific Role Holder Duties
Finance and Admin Lead
- Cash control
- Invoicing
- Banking
- Insurances
- Statutory reporting and compliance
- Payroll accurate payment of all staff, complying with all reporting requirements
- VAT
- Managing suppliers including ordering, authorising and paying them accurately and timely
- Producing all sales invoices and collecting all amounts as and when due
- Controlling, reporting on and safeguarding all company assets
- Preparation of management accounts in a format and timeframe agreed with the board
- Manage business rates including SBRR reliefs for our tenants
- Negotiate and manage utilities
- Oversight of company IT systems, administration and records keeping.
- GDPR and other data storage and compliance
- Managing human resources issues
Operations Lead
- Buildings and site maintenance
- Care for and improve our great venue
- Ensure our tenants' reasonable needs are satisfied
- Site cleanliness and waste control
- Site security protocols and equipment
- Oversight of the catering and retail relationships
- Plan and manage safe vehicle movements and parking
- Ensure routine statutory testing of all GNC and GNCHSC equipment
- Plan and agree work placements
- Ensure accurate billing of work placement labour to specialists
- Ensure safe working practices for all trainees
Salary:
£45,000.00-£45,000.01 per year
