    Senior Associate (4+PQE) Job Description
    Location: London (hybrid)

    We are seeking a bright and ambitious employment solicitor with excellent technical ability and a collaborative approach to join our Employment team. As a Senior Associate, you will work on a stimulating mix of advisory, contentious and transactional employment matters.

    This is a hands-on role, where you'll be encouraged to take ownership of your matters with appropriate support. You'll also contribute to business development, write thought leadership pieces, speak at events, and build strong relationships internally and externally.

    Key Responsibilities:
    • Advising employer clients on contracts, handbooks, day-to-day HR issues, and redundancy processes
    • Acting in employment tribunal and High Court litigation, including employee competition cases
    • Supporting the firm's corporate and commercial teams on employment aspects of transactions
    • Advising senior executives on contractual terms, exits, and post-termination restrictions
    • Participating in client training sessions, networking events, and blog content creation
    Candidate Profile:
    • At least four years' post-qualification experience in a reputable employment practice.
    • Strong technical understanding of employment law with experience across advisory and contentious matters
    • Confident communicator with excellent drafting and interpersonal skills
    • Organised, proactive, and capable of managing a busy caseload with autonomy
    • Genuine enthusiasm for client service and collaborative working
    Qualifications:
    • 2:1 degree or above (or equivalent)
    • Training at a respected City or mid-sized firm
