The role of a pot washer/Kitchen Assistant in the care industry is a challenging and fulfilling one, where no two days are the same.

You'll report to the catering manager, meet high standards of food hygiene and professionalism. You'll also deal with suppliers and handle paperwork. Duties include, pot washing, meet health & safety requirements, maintaining food safety standards, adhering to high standards of preparation. responsibilities

Supporting the catering manager and being flexible to cover annual leave
Ensuring the kitchen meets high standards of quality.
Completing food hygiene documents to comply with the law and writing environmental health reports when necessary.
Establishing strong relationships with staff in other areas of the business, including managers and healthcare staff.
Keeping control of stock.
Organising produce and ensuring strict adherence to food hygiene regulations.
Assisting all food preparation.
