Our client is a leading global provider of high-quality vacuum equipment, with a goal of enabling the innovation, creation and advancement of a vast array of products.

They are currently looking for a
Warehouse/Stores Manager to join their hardworking and dedicated team in
St Leonards on Sea, East Sussex.


As a
Warehouse/Stores Manager you will inspect and approval of the quality and quantity of goods or equipment received and shipped out, have strict control of inventory and the overall organisation and maintenance of inventory and storage area.

Yourduties will also include managing staff, building teams, training employees and monitoring performance.

  • Demonstrable experience in a similar position
  • Possess good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Have strong organisational skills to handle large volumes of goods
  • Be computer literate, including MS office and/or warehouse management systems
  • Possess good teamworking skills to effectively collaborate with other team members
  • Be able to work in a fastpaced environment
  • Ability to work effectively under limited supervision
  • Due to this role involving heavy lifting, you must be physically fit

Your duties as a Warehouse/Stores Manager will include:

  • Overall organisation and maintenance of inventory and storage area
  • Strict control of inventory (accuracy and location) using the company MRP system
  • Inspection and approval of the quality and quantity of goods or equipment received and shipped out
  • Maintaining warehouse inventory controls and annual stock take accuracy within 2% of total stock
  • Kitting of works orders for production and/or packing
  • Treating merchandise with due care and attention at all times
  • Management of logistics for finished goods
  • Managing staff, building teams, training employees and monitoring performance
  • Enforcing company rules and health and safety standards are maintained
  • Any other duties as assigned
