Description

We are looking to recruit a keen and enthusiastic Band 4 Senior Administrator to provide high quality administrative support to the Neonatal Governance Team.


The main duties and responsibilities for the post holder are:

  • Provide comprehensive senior administrative and secretarial support to the Governance Team in relation to all governance activity across the service, to support the delivery of safe and effective care to patients.
  • Develop and maintain appropriate office systems for the smooth running of the department.
  • Input and extract data from a range of systems in the production of governance related reports.
  • Provide administrative support to the Serious Incident Investigation Process including related administrative tasks and action plan monitoring, 72hr Reviews and ongoing investigations.
  • Organise meetings, including invites, agenda preparation and distribution, preparation of meeting papers, comprehensive minute taking and distribution of minutes.
  • Develop and maintain office systems, including databases, spreadsheets and trackers to enable the Governance Team to operate effectively.
  • Provide support to the Governance Team with distributing reviews and action plans for incidents, following up outstanding action evidence,
  • Responsible for producing divisional review summaries, statistical, performance and excellence reporting data, including creation of graphs and charts for inclusion in divisional and speciality meeting papers.

The Trust also has a tertiary level Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, enabling 1 in 4 women across Greater Manchester to receive in-utero transfer and birth at extreme premature gestation at Bolton.
