Venture Recruitment Partners are working with a fast growing FMCG business, based in Winchester, in their search for an Assistant Accountant on either a full or part-time basis.

This is a newly created position reporting into the Financial Controller.

Key Responsibilities of the
Assistant Accountant:

  • Subsidiary activities
  • Bank postings
  • Credit control
  • Turnover reconciliation
  • Monthend balance sheet reconciliations
  • Stock reconciliations
  • Yearend accounts
  • Group VAT compliance and record keeping
  • Assist with UK parent company's monthend activities
  • Assist with the invoice finance facility reconciliation
  • Assist with annual group audit
  • National Statistics filing
  • Other ad hoc tasks, reports and reconciliation as required

About you:


  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Part qualified ACCA, CIMA or ACA
  • Ability to work well within a team environment and independently
  • Great people skills and communication skills
  • Advanced Excel skills
