CAD ENGINEER

Our Client based in the Hayes area are looking for a CAD Engineer on a permanent basis for an immediate start.

They are a manufacturing company for bus shelters and digital signange.

The Package for CAD Engineer:

Salary of between £32,000 and £35,000 depending on experience
Full time, Permanent role
37.5 hours per week, over the standard working hours of 8:00am to 4:30pm, Monday to Thursday and 8.00am to 12:30pm on Friday.

The Role for CAD Engineer:

Responsible for design and creation of 2D and 3D technical manufacturing data including models and drawings, completing projects On-Time, within the project Budget, performing to high standards of Quality, whilst promoting and supporting continuous improvementwithin the Design Department.

CAD Engineer Responsibilities:

Responsible for the detailed design of products inline with project brief.
Creation of technical drawings including; manufacturing drawings, client approval drawings, assembly drawings, and installation drawings.
Management of project CAD files.
Creation and control of Bill of Materials (BOM's), drawing registers, and project folders.
Follow document control requirements within Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
Coordinate design with all departments to ensure designs are manufacturable, transportable, installable and maintainable.
To liaise with internal production to ensure the smooth running of the design and manufacturing process.
