An exciting opportunity has arisen within a highly established charity for a
Recovery Worker to join their service in Northamptonshire.

This is a full-time temporary position and the client are looking to get someone started as soon as possible.

Location:
Wellingborough

Hours: 37.5 per week

Shifts: 9am - 5pm, Monday to Friday

Length: - 3 months, with the possibility of extension and permanent work

Daily duties:

Manage a large caseload of clients with complex needs e.g. Drug and Alcohol issues and Substance Misuse
Carrying out client assessments and coordinate a personcentred recovery plan to promote effective recovery including referrals to other community agencies
Provide support and advice to service users, their families and potential service users about harm reduction
Identify achievable goals and incorporate those within recovery plans, ensuring that clients are able to work through their plans successfully
Carry out risk assessments and reviews with special attention to safeguarding concerns
Facilitate client contact and communicate via telephone, online and facetoface to encourage and ensure safe engagement in treatment

Essential Requirements:

Knowledge of clients who have drug and alcohol issues and how to promote effective recovery
An Enhanced DBS with the Adults and Children's list from within the last 3 years or the willingness to obtain one
