Description

The successful post holder will:
Be responsible for the orthoptic assessment, diagnosis and appropriate management of all patients in their care Be responsible as an independent practitioner for the planning, implementation and monitoring of orthoptic treatment Be responsible for re-referral to specialist services if indicated Collaborate and actively participate in supporting observers, health care professional and Orthoptic students attending clinical placement Support MDT teaching and ophthalmic technicians at NHNN Lead clinical service management at NHNN including review of ward patients Work with service managers to ensure stocks and supplies are maintained
