Pavilion is currently working with a number of childcare employers across Birmingham with up to 21 vacancies across the roles available below.

We're looking for motivated and committed individuals who are currently out of work/receiving employment benefits to complete a two week employment and induction programme in partnership with each of these employers to prepare you for the workplace and sector, with the aim of securing a permanent position.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Lead and supervise a designated room of children, ensuring their safety, wellbeing, and positive development.
  • Plan, implement, and evaluate developmentally appropriate activities and experiences that support children's physical, social, emotional, and cognitive growth.
  • Create a nurturing and inclusive environment that promotes active learning, curiosity, and exploration.
  • Observe and assess children's progress, identifying individual strengths, areas for improvement, and any developmental concerns.
  • Collaborate with parents and guardians to share information about children's daily routines, progress, and any relevant updates.
  • Lead and manage a team of nursery practitioners, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure consistent highquality care and education.
  • Delegate responsibilities, assign tasks, and organize staff schedules to ensure proper staffing ratios are maintained at all times.
  • Develop and maintain a positive and effective communication channel with the nursery management and other room leaders.

motivated to secure employment.

Salary:
£7.49-£10.42 per hour


Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
  • No weekends
