Internal Sales/Customer Support

Hand and Power Tools, Fasteners, Paints, Nails and Staples. Client service remains at the heart of the company's ethos, being supplemented by an experienced sales and technical support staff and a distribution network
Job Purpose
We have a fantastic opportunity to join us as an Internal Sales/Customer Support Person, to deliver an effortless customer experience, whilst developing and building relationships with our customers based across the Midlands.
Key Accountabilities
- Dealing with all customer enquiries effectively and efficiently
- Ensuring quotes have been completed within in a timely manner
- Receiving and processing customer orders
- Communicate any updates on orders/pricing and stock availability
- Proactively upselling promotional products to customers whenever possible
- Resolving customer issues promptly and accurately, to promote customer loyalty
- Develop strong and collaborative working relationships with Customers
- Liaising with external suppliers, sourcing products and availability where necessary
- Facilitating requests for new accounts, catalogues and updating contact details
- Support branch external sales teams and trade counter
- Assist in company stock take procedures as required
- Adherence to company health & safety standards and specific site requirements
Key Skills and Behaviours
- Exceptional knowledge of Engineering Cutting Tools, Abrasives and PPE Products essential for this position
- Proven experience working in a Customer Service environment
- Excellent IT skills, including Microsoft packages and bespoke databases
- Resilient and able to overcome challenges
- Initiativetaking attitude with good critical thinking skills
- Ability to develop and build relationships with internal and external customers
- Experience of working under pressure and in a demanding environment
- Excellent verbal communication and listening skills
- Ability to author routine reports and correspondence
- Able to prioritise and work well under pressure to meet strict deadlines
- Able to identify opportunities for further business development
- Selfmotivated with a dedicated approach

From £28,000.00 per year
