Description

Due to exciting growth, we are looking for an administrator to join our team, to assist with smooth business operations.

You will need to communicate with all corners of the business and undertake a wide variety of operational and customer facing tasks.

This is a hybrid role with the flexibility of working from home and at our office, in Boldon Colliery.


Vergo has over 40 years of experience in the pest industry and is the largest independent national pest service provider in the UK today. Vergo is a national business with staff geographically spread across the UK and Northern Ireland. Our comprehensive range of pest management services includes rodent control, bird management, insect control, and wildlife management.


Key Duties:


  • To input, manage and organise data
  • Support the Coordination team by completing the admin tasks within the Customer SLAs
  • Accept and administer sales leads from technicians.
  • Recognise sales leads and pass to surveyors or progress personally as appropriate, within published guidelines
  • Checking and approval of sales surveyor reports and pricing documents to ensure quality, accuracy and technical compliance
  • Compile financial and nonfinancial customer reports for selected contracts
  • Develop good understanding of clients business and develop close working relationship with clients, technicians and area managers to assist with enquiries
  • Maintain exceptional levels of customer service & customer care standards
  • Build strong working relationships with line manager and team members, to work collaboratively and achieve goals and targets
  • General administration duties, including filing of sales paperwork locally and forwarding on as appropriate
  • Projects and any other ad hoc duties as required by the needs of the business

About you:


  • Experienced in administration and customer service
  • Focussed, with consistent attention to detail
  • Strong organisational skills, able to multitask and able to work to deadlines
  • Able to use initiative and take responsibility
  • A team player, with strong work ethic and takes pride in their work
  • Competent with Microsoft Office and able to learn new systems quickly
