Family Support Coordinator - Blackburn with Darwen

Fixed term to 31st March 2025, 0.6 FTE, 22.5 hours a week

£26,056 - £29,344 salary (£15,633 - £17,606 pro-rated salary) plus up to 6% matched pension contribution

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Family Support Coordinator to coordinate and deliver local HENRY services, working closely with families, partners and wider stakeholders to enable high quality service delivery aligned with community needs.

Reporting to Service Manager/Head of Service, you will be responsible for:

Coordination of service delivery, ensuring programmes and training courses are well run, organised and safely managed
Working with local partners across services to promote the offer to new and expectant families
Establishing and managing a referrals process that maximises referral and takeup
Deliver HENRY family support alongside nominated local practitioners,
Provide training and support to the wider workforce involved in supporting local families
Ensure efficient and comprehensive collection and analysis of data to drive improvement

You will have an empathic and caring approach and be dedicated to building and maintaining good relationships throughout the Blackburn with Darwen community.

You will be able to make good relationships with colleagues in HENRY's existing team and be passionate about supporting families to give babies and young children the best start in life.

We offer hybrid working between an office within the Family Hubs, and other community settings within Blackburn with Darwen, and your home where appropriate.
