We are looking for a Facilities Assistant to join our team.

Job Purpose:


We are looking to recruit a Facilities Assistant to provide admin support to the Facilities and Health & Safety Managers to maintain the administrative needs of the department.


The Facilities Assistant will be responsible for (but not limited to):

  • Assisting the Facilities Manager with the organisation of project planning
  • Assisting the Facilities Manager with maintenance requests, instructing works and ensuring the works are carried out in a timely manner
  • Coordinating works between contractors and Office Partners/Office Coordinators
  • Assisting the Facilities Manager in the collation of data to support the Capital Works Programme
  • Supporting the Facilities Manager and Health & Safety Manager to ensure that Health & Safety records are kept up to date
  • To keep up to date records for each of the offices
  • To keep up to date records of all contractors/suppliers
  • Take on 'adhoc' projects as and when required
  • Support a variety of Facilities related tasks
  • Keep JC Connect updated with all Facilities and Health & Safety information
  • Any other duties as directed by the Facilities or Health & Safety Managers

About You:


  • A leader of your work and your professional learning
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to positively impact and influence others
  • Relevant experience in this or a similar role is preferred
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
  • The ability to keep sensitive information confidential
  • The ability to problem solve and come up with solutions
  • IT literate with experience of Microsoft packages
  • Flexible approach and ability to adapt to changing demands
  • Ability to work effectively within a small team and with an ability to work on your own initiative
