Description

The role reports directly into the Head of Finance and will be responsible for the preparation of the monthly management accounts, financial reporting, and financial analysis.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Responsible for commercial & NPD business partnering
  • Producing accurate product costings for existing & new developments
  • Gross Margin reporting & analysis
  • Carrying out sales & promotional analysis
  • Compiling & presenting post launch analysis
  • Influencing commercial decision making
  • Assisting Head of Finance with CYE forecasting
  • Commercial Finance lead for annual budget setting
  • Provide cover for various reports produced by the finance team.
  • Track & manage inflation to ensure this is captured accurately & passed onto the customer.

Qualifications, experience, technical skills / knowledge:


  • CIMA / ACCA qualified, Preferably from a FMCG background
  • Extensive knowledge and appreciation of manufacturing processes.
  • System 21, MS AX, Recipe Professor experience.
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and questioning ability
  • Confident communicator with financial and nonfinancial colleagues
  • Able to challenge at all levels
  • Strong IT skills across standard operating systems
  • Good literacy and numeracy needed and excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to interact with internal and external stakeholders
Some flexibility required to manage working hours to meet the demands of the business
